CERTIFICATES
Certificates of completion are issued to those who successfully complete a coure of study as outlined in our Certificate Program Requirements. Students are given the ability to retake certain programs in specific ways as specified in our certificate requirements. Should a student fail their retakes and / or any final examinations, a certificate may not be issued. Should a student fail to study a lesson for a realistic amount of time, as recorded in our system, a certificate may not be issued. Should a student manifest an anti-Catholic view and fail to repudiate such an error and conform to the Church's official teachings, such a student may not receive a certificate of completion. Should any such incident occur, the student would not be entitled to any refund of the course materials or fees already incurred and/or paid.
Our certificates are generally issued within 2 - 3 business days of a valid request. The certificate will state that it was issued by the instructors of CatechismClass.com and bear the electronic signature of our president as well as our founding priest, Fr. James Zatalava. It will have the date, the student's name, and state which course(s) the student has completed. These are electronic signatures - not physically hand-signed. Expediting services and mailed certificates are available only for those who order the extra, necessary fee(s). Students must ensure they check their spam and trash folders if an emailed certificate is not received within an expected timeframe. For those who order a mailed hard copy, the student is responsible for ensuring that the address entered is valid. Mail returned to sender will incur additional mailing fees for subsequent mailing attempts. Certificates mailed outside of the United States or its territories carry an additional processing fee to cover the increased shipping cost.
WHITE LISTING
As all certificates are emailed, a student must provide a valid email address able to accept incoming mail. Students are expected to follow our white list instructions upon registration. We are not responsible for certificate delays, misdelivered messages, or the inability to access course materials due to full inboxes, misspelled email addresses, or email service providers classifing our messages as spam or trash.
PROCESSING CHARGES, CERTIFICATE PROCESSING, OUTSIDE PURCHASES
Students seeking a Certificate of Completion following their use of a course of study agree to follow the Course Requirements for each individual course of studying, understanding that for some certificates, multiple programs must be purchased and passed. Passage of a program may involve remedial work which may cost additional fees. The passing percentage for any course of study is kept by CatechismClass.com and will be strictly enforced. Users may request to know the passage requirements by contacting CatechismClass.com. Users seeking certificates are also required to submit the necessary processing charges; such charges are required to receive a certificate in either printed or electronic format, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Such charges are not shipping charges and should not be construed as shipping charges. Certificate processing and mailing charges not used within 1 year of purchase will be voided and will not unusuable in the future.
Some courses of study may require the purchase of outside books or materials. Users hereby agree that these materials are purchased at an extra cost above and beyond the amount remitted to CatechismClass.com. Users may inquire about the usage of outside books before purchasing a course but no purchase will be cancelled or refunded if a user requests so for the reason of needing an outside purchase of a book or any outside course materials whatsoever. Unauthorized sharing of content is grounds for an account suspension and/or financial penalties.
DISCOUNT CODES
From time to time, CatechismClass.com may offer discount codes to either current or prospective customers to save on the standard prices of programs offered for sale on the website. CatechismClass.com reserves the right to change the terms of any discount code including but not limited to its discount amount or percentage, included or excluded programs, or its very existence without any notice. Discount codes are offered as a courtesy from time to time, by the organization, and apply only to future purchases; refunds are never issued for purchases for qualifying items during the period when the purchaser did not use the discount code during the checkout process. The maximum savings of any discount code is capped at $50 USD. Invalid uses of discount codes on prohibited programs may require the customer to refund to CatechismClass.com the erroneous discounts taken. This policy is in place for all discounts — those offered in the past and those that will be created in the future — and this policy applies in all cases, except those in which it conflicts with specific laws or regulations of specific jurisdictions.
BAPTISM PROGRAM SPECIFIC TERMS
The CatechismClass.com Baptism Preparation Program for Parents and / or Godparents is a special item that must be purchased in individual quantities. Each particular godparent and parent must have an individual purchase in his or her account of the course. Users may not purchase multiple copies in a single account. Doing so will necessitate manual intervention by CatechismClass.com personnel to allocate the additional quantities to the proper student. Having more than a single active Baptism class in an account at a time will block the ability to take the quiz and request and receive a certificate of completion until such manual intervention is done. As such, only purchase one copy of the course in your account. Likewise, purchasing multiple certificate processing fees or add-ons may block a student's ability to take the quiz and earn their certificate. Only purchase single quantities of these fee and add-on items. At no time will refunds be offered for purchasing incorrect amounts, purchasing programs in the incorrect user account, failing to receive a certificate in time for external requirements, failing to earn a certificate, or purchasing too many copies of the program. Students who previously used the Baptism Program for a certificate may, and are invited to, return and take the course again, so long as it has been at least two weeks since the previous certificate was issued.
PAYMENT PROCESSING & MATERIAL POSTING TIME
Not all electronic payments are instant. Some banks take up to one hour to transfer the funds and register a payment as completed on our end. Your purchased item(s) will automatically load into the account in which they were purchased as soon as the payment clears all ends. Do not make duplicate payments. If you do not see your items after waiting one hour, please contact CatechismClass.com to see if your purchase went through.
REFUNDS
At no time are refunds offered for purchases for any reason, including but not limited to duplicate purchases made in error, purchasing the incorrect items, purchasing materials in the incorrect account, failing the course materials, deciding after purchase to take classes elsewhere, failing to receive your certificate in time for when you needed it, purchasing a course that you already owned, failing to read the certificate requirements as outlined in the course selector, having a certificate dishonored by any parish, priest, or diocese, or for any other reason whatsoever. After a student purchases materials, those materials are made available immediately to a student through in their online account, whether or not a user uses the materials.

Purchasers who do not use purchased materials may contact CatechismClass.com and request their purchases be donated to someone else or the user may request in-store credit for future purchases.
